On the nite of our weddding anniversary, we took a coach up to Ipoh for my grandma's 80 year old birthday celebrations. It's going to be a big and grand celebration. All my the other 10 aunties and uncles will be back with their children & grandchildren.

Grandma & my family
After the photo taking, we all queue up to give our wishes to grandma and also our eldest cousin gave the birthday shared by all the cousins to her.
The celebration dinner was at a restaurant. There were a total of 21 tables . The portion of food is super big and we are almost full when the 4th dish is presented. There was also KTV to entertain the guests, anyone can go on stage to sing.
Cake cutting time...
All the cousins, ie my grandma's grandchildren and great grandchildren gathered on stage and sang a birthday medley for her.
All the guy cousins..The next day after the dinner, 1 of my Si Gu's fren brought us out for breakfast & shopping. I remembered when i was young, we had many guests staying over at our hse, like my Gu Gu and Gu Gu's frens, my uncles and their frens etc. This Si Gu's fren is 1 of those guests whom my parents have extended their hospitality to. Though it has been more than 20 years, they still remember how my parents took care of them when they stayed over =D
We visited the Bi Li Tong after breakfast ..1 of the famous cave in Ipoh. We used to visit this cave whenever we went Ipoh where we were young. It's much nicer now. And this is dad's playground when he was young! So can imagine how long the cave has been there.
Eh, model with white hair? Haha
After spending 2 nites in Ipoh, Dear and travel up to Penang by bus which took us about 3 hours from Ipoh. We stayed another 3 nights there.
The hotel we stayed (Bayview Resort) was at Batu Ferringh by, where all the beach resorts are siutated and where the Pasar Malam is located. Beach is not fantastic which we expected. Basically we just want to relax and indulge ourselves in Penang local food.
We did not go to many places of interest. Just a few. And because we have lots of time to kill, we took their public transport ie bus to the places that we wanted to go. Hee..And sometimes, we can wait up to an hour for the bus, we were really patient lor! Haha!
