BS Hse Reno Update 2

The very next morning we were bk from our trip on wed, we received call from our contractor on where we want to place the heaters in the bathrooms so we rushed down to take a look. To our surprise, the heater in the common toilet has been put up and it's the wrong colour-shd be for MBR toilet..Hmmm, we called our contractor and he told us the plumber ignore his instructions and put it up on his own. So well, they have to take it down including the pipes (see photo), change the tiles and redo again ;p the sink is up too but the tap is the wrong -meant for MBR toilet sink.

Let's see what else have been done during the week we were away...Wiring has been done but some wrong points are done wrongly and they missed out some points so....change!

The 3 bedroom doors have been changed too...waiting to be painted after we choose the colour

BIG problem - Water Leakage!...from the 2 toilets upstairs and the kitchen also...got to call HDB to come down to see...

Gas pipe in kitchen has been run too.. Tiles at sink area DONE! Air Con piping and trunking have been done too with minor problems like the holes that they drill is too big so gt to ask them to come bk and fill up the hole. And another problem..we realise that the trunking at the door frame near bedrm 1 and 2 seems to be slanted. So arranged for the air con man to come down again to take a look.

Only a worker came to paste some newspaper, preparing for paint work

2 May (Sat)

Met the HDB officer at 930am on sat about the leakage problem. He said the neighbour upstairs would need to do up the toilet and according to HDB rules, we have to pay 50% of the cost, capped at $300 per location, meaning for 2 locations that will be $600! $$$ flying away for nothing...will put aside the kitchen leakage first coz it might be affected by the toilets leakage..haiz..no choice..

Met up with the air con contractor at noon to take a look at the slanted air con trunking and to my surprise, the trunking is straight, the slanted one is the wall..hahaha..blame the wrong person =P so nw gt to ask my contractor to find way to straighten it.

Anyway, Window grilles are up in the afternoon! Simple and nice..

The bifold doors for both toilets..pure and clean look..hee..

Met our contractor at our new hse to confirm the colour of the wall paint, wardrobe laminate and highlight to them the problems of the heater, water piping, slanting door frame and some parts of the wall etc...

Iron gate has been changed on Mon! Our home sweet home gate ;)

More protection of our floor for paint work..all covered up
