13 - 15Apr (Mon -Wed)
Check out what has been done fr Mon to Wed after the long Good Friday weekend..

The ugly semi circle entrance to kitchen with pink mosaic is gone..

The ABC wall paper is gone too....

Checking the tiles that have arrived on wed afternoon

Kitchen floor and wall have been smoothen by cement..no more holes

16 Apr (Thur)

We took half day leave in the morning to confirm the tiles that have arrived on wed afternoon and the places to place the tiles before the workers start to do the tiling work. At the same time, to decide on our window frame and glass colour and get the sketch of our kitchen cabinet design. The workers have also started to do plastering for the whole house starting with the bedrooms.

Work done after the 5th day of reno...kitchen half tiled

MBR toilet flr tiles done, wall half done

17 Apr (Fri)

The feature wall at MBR toilet is up! nice! I like =)

Kitchen flooring is done! And the base of our kitchen cabinet is up too!

18 Apr (Sat)

Becoz it's sat, contractor can only do things which does not make any noise.

Plastering of the walls is done!

Met up with our air con contractor on how to run the trunking for the aircon.

20 Apr (Mon)

Met up with our contractor to finalise our cabinet & wardrobe design, iron gate, doors to the rooms, bifold doors for the 2 toilets etc before we go for our taiwan trip with my family. Will need to let them know the colour i want for wardrobe and colours to be used for painting after our trip

21 Apr (Tue)

Went down to take a final look before our trip tmr.

Windows are up for all the rooms

Tiling done for kitchen and the $16 psf black tiles that we chose is also up! Heehee

The base for washing machine and the wall for the sink area is up too!

Wall tiles for common toilet almost done and window has been changed for this toilet and the MBR toilet as well.

Wondering wat will i see after 1 week when i am bk from Taiwan ;). The worker is supposed to complete all tiling work by tmr and Thur will be re-wiring for the whole hse which will take 2 days and Air Con to be installed on Fri! WooHoo..hopefully the contractors will do a good job when we are not ard..so far minimun supervision fr us so keeping our finger cross.
