BS House Update

Last weekend was a busy one for us..Busy choosing our titles for our kitchen and toilet walls and floors, toilet bowls, toilet and kitchen sinks, taps, heaters, lights etc... have to make so many decisions for the past few days! Plus i was having a bad cough and flu over the last weekend..make me so tired so slow in deciding on things.. still, it's exciting and fun!! hahaha

We went to 3 shops on sat with our contractor, 2 tile shop, 1 toilet & kitchen accessory shop and 1 lighting shop. Managed to choose our stuff but was not very happy with the lights so we decided to go to the shop which dear's bro use for the fernvale hse and we found the lights that we like. Since we were there, we also gt another quote for the toilet and kitchen stuff but it's more expensive.

The headache comes when we were deciding on the tiles. After matching the various sample tiles, i am nt satisfied so decided take half day leave to go down to the shop again on tue to choose again. And dear choose a tile which is $16 psf which exceeded alot more fr the max we are supposed to choose ($2.60) but it's only a few pcs for a small part of our kitchen. We are gg to insist tt we are not gg to top up..Heehee.. Since we are oredi on leave, we also went down to the toilet & kitchen accessory shop to confirm our order and make payment. We will be using these stuff very soon once we start our reno.

We have also shortlisted our TV & washing machine, gg to check out the prices at the various shops. Getting more and more fun ;)

Tmr the workers are going to start our reno! Excited!!! First job is to hack down the tiles. YaHhOO!
