CNY 2009

This is the first year i am celebrating cny with my hubby..hahah...status change liao..it's like a 'new' cny for me..schedule change, more visitations, more pple to meet. And got to give APs instead of receiving! =P

CNY started off with the reunion dinner on cny eve. We had reunion dinner at our all time fav place~Sakura buffet with 三姨&family. This is the second year we had reunion dinner together.

After which, we rushed over the dear's smallest uncle's place for second round of reunion dinner. His family usually would gather at this uncle's hse with 2 or 3 other families to have reunion dinner. But by the time we reached there, they have finished eating =S felt a bit bad abt it but nvm next year we will manage our time better...it's our first time afterll ;) We stayed there for the rest of the nite, playing black jack and 劳鱼生. Quite 热闹, comparing to my usual cny eve.

In the morning of the 1st day of CNY, i got an Ang Pow from my dearest hubby..he so cute..i told him according to my mum, husband has to give wife ang pow on cny and so he actually prepare it for me.haha..thks dear!

After giving ang pows to dear's dad, sis and bro, we had home cooked breakfast by sis. They r on vegetarian diet for the first half of the 1st day of cny.

In the afternoon we went back to my dearest parents' place to 拜年! =) Dad & Mum were so happy to receive the first AP from us..hahaha.. We played blackjack for a while before going to my uncle's place.

Met Ning at nite and we went to the River Ang Pow with her beau. Finally get to meet Ken! ;)

Second day of CNY, dear's relatives gathered at our place to bai nian as my FIL is the eldest brother among his siblings. So the whole day was busy giving angpows and entertaining the guests. Though the whole hse was packed with pple, i thot it's quite nice and 热闹.

I took leave on the 3rd day of CNY. Arranged with my family to watch movie in the afternoon since my bro had 4 free tics. Heehee..Went to watch Jack Neo's movie-Love Matters. Good bonding time. Dear picked us for dinner after the show and we went to Changi Village for our all time favourite dim sum at 1 of the coffee shop.
