Gatherings

JC Gathering on Thur (25 Jun 08 )

The following day i met up with Guan and SZ, i met up with my JC frens. Long due gathering!
Though not all can make it, we still gone ahead to meet up. Sometimes it rather hard to gathering everyone. ;)

Went to tampines Cafe Cartel for dinner before proceeding to Changi Airport for coffee. Shufen, Sherley and myself are the only girls in the group with Des, Alvin, TX, Dennis and CW. The gers are all getting married this year. Shufen in Dec, Me in Sept and Sherley ROM-ing in Sept too. Next should be Dennis and Alvin ba since the rest have not found their snow white.

Time really flies without us realising how fast it is... we have actually known each other for 10 years! And we have been talking about the same old topics, cracking the same old jokes for the past 10 years and not sick of it lor. Wahaha.. but that's the beauty of it, isn't it? The good old days..

Till we meet again in the 2 weddings and the yr end gathering at Shufen's new hse!

Relatives from Ipoh Gathering (28 Jun 08)

27 Jun was Peipei's wedding...Because it clashed with mine so the whole family did not attend .. Quite a number of my Ipoh relatives travelled down to attend her wedding..a mixture of the old and young..hee..

So the next day, the young ones aka my cousins decided to go shopping in Orchar so bro, dear and myself joined them and at the same time, my parents brought the old ones aka my aunts and uncles to suntec to walk around. Quite a nice get-together for us and our long-distance cousins..seldom we can gather together to shop and have tea.

At nite we all gathered at ECP Seafood centre for dinner..2 tables of pple..so ren nao..haha..Guess the next time i am going to see them will be my wedding but most of my cousins would not be able to make it as it's a weekday.

Primary Sch Gathering on Wed (2 Jul 08)
You would nt believe it...this is the first time ever since we graduated from pri sch that we are having a pri sch gathering...haha..though it's only the 4 of us... Kind of amazing hor.. we have known each other for 18 years! If nt for the reason that me and Allan are getting married, Ruping going to US for years, i think we would nt have this gathering =)

Though this is the first gathering, throughout all these years i do keep in touch with Ruping, see Zhiwei in JC days, met Allan in Hall 6 when he happened to be allocated to the same hall as me.. When Ruping got married last Dec, i had the chance to catch up with the 2 guys. And after more than 10 years, we finally get the chance to sit down together for dinner ;)

Allan is getting married in Oct and Zhiwei has ROM-ed in Mar this year and having his customary next yr Jan. Ruping is leaving for US in sep with hubby to further his studies... We tok about anything and everything under the sun, our pri sch days, our lives now etc... Trying to catch up with one another's life for the past 10 over years in those few hours is not an easy task.... it's such an indescribable feeling ... and i am so gald that the time has not eroded our friendship. =D

I promise it will not be another 10 years till we have dinner together again....
