Grandma

Grandma visited us about 2 weeks ago... stayed with us for close to 2 weeks before going to my aunt's place in JB. A good time for her to take a break before she goes back to ipoh to help my Da Gu make CNY goodies to sell.

For the 2 weeks that she is here, mum is the one to accompany her most of the time since we have to work and only see at night and for the weekend, she went over to san gu's place so did not have the chance to bring her ard.. Luckily, there's Deepavali! So decided to bring her out to show her the different farms (goat, frutis, vegetables & frogs) in Singapore. And we ended the day with dinner at ECP.

Talking about my grandma, there is a always a language barrier between us.. She speaks hakka and a little mandarin while we totally cannot speak hakka, though i can understand a little. It's a little difficult to pick up hakka coz since young my dad did not teach us or speak to us in the dialect. But still, it did not hinder our communication..sometimes actions speak louder than words ;)
