Another exciting week?

Last Tue i was invited to a dinner at Ritz Carlton by one of my recruitment agency. They sponsored a table for charity and invited some of their clients to the dinner and i am one of the chosen one. So honoured! It's actually a Charity Gala by Microsoft. The theme is "realising potential" and the President, Mr Nathan & Mrs Nathan were the Guest of Honour for the dinner. They make use of technology to help the disabled in their daily learning and activities. It's quite heart warming to see the video clip and esp towards the end where this group of unfortunate people put up a show for the audience. Though it's just a simple song, you know they would have practise for quite some time to put up the performance. It reminded me of the times when i was so steadfast about my volunteer work in Red Cross esp the Lions Befrienders at Mei Ling Street. Really miss those days... meaningful and fulfilling... maybe this is wat is lacking in my life now...

Wed left office ard 6pm and went shopping with SH at Suntec. Since the nite is still quite young, we decided to drop by Paulander for a drink. We order a bottle of red wine and had a good time chit chatting. Remember those days when we go clubbing together (only 2 of us) at madam wong, double O etc... and also those days i went drinking with Sue and Kelly after our gym..Kind of miss those days too...

Thur was the once a week jogging session at ECP.

Fri was spent at 1 corner of K's condo drinking wine with some tibits and not forgetting the playground where it brought us quite a fair bit of laughter..hee..

Sat was quite exciting.... Went to JB with my parents and aunty...Dad's fren picked us up at JB after we crossed the custom. We went over to his house after breakfast and his house is interesting! He has a good big dog which dun bark and he planted many different kinds of plants like pineapple, some veg which i dunnoe the names and a big fruit tree which i also dunnoe the name..haha.

The most exciting part of the trip was going to my Si Gu's house for haircut. Mum always like her to style her hair..hmm..but everytime is the same leh.. hee..

And ya, i did something drastic to my hair! Make a guess...... I PERM my hair! Can imagine? I cannot imagine but i did it! I was a bit skeptical abt it initially and asked her lot of qn and she AGAIN re-assured me that it will be nice ...ya, AGAIN coz she always told me it'll be nice but somehow turn out to be otherwise...ok, nt tt bad but still it''ll turn out to be sth unexpected...and i always dun learn my lesson and trust her with my hair.... haiz....and i am still trying to accept the look coz it's really a total different look lor..never in my life to have curly hair...

Dun ask me wat i did on Sun coz almost the whole sun i was looking at the mirror till the mirror almost broke, trying to style my hair so that mon wun look stupid and hoping i will get used to my new look by looking more into the mirror..haiz... so stupid rite? haha

Ok...mon come the judgement day... time to face the world.... mixed reactions..my boss was like "WAH! Wat happen to your hair?!"..very loudly lor...SM laughed at the moment he saw me...SL woke up the moment she saw me..DS was like i prefer you w straight hair.. some say cute..some say nice..some say funky...some say look more mature...aiya..watever lah...till today, still getting shock faces..haha.. u judge yourself ba..
