The Belated Surprise

Yesh..yesterday was on leave as mentioned in my previous post...guess where i went...Ritz Carlton for a 1 night stay! Wah...muz be wondering how much i paid for the rm rite? Haha..it's FOC...a complimentary 1 night weekend stay which i won from a draw during company's DnD..

It was meant to be a surprise for dear on his birthday...had the intention to book a rm for his birthday on 16 Sep and happened that i won this 1 night stay.. i was quite happy till i realised it's during the IMF period and all the rooms were fully booked...so cannot give him the surprise on the actual day... but as usual, the creative me, self-created a voucher (voucher for a surprise) for him and gave it to him on his birthday for him to claim the surprise after his bday

he was given a list of things to bring for the day, nearer to the date...and from the things i told him to bring (sports attire, swimming attire, toiletries etc), he tot i was going to bring him to a fitness centre...haha..and when i brought him there, he really was surprised!

The room is big and really nice lor...the bathroom is very big with a separate toilet, shower room and the best thing is the bathtub is beside the window and u can see the view outside as u soak yourself in the bathtub.. we decided then that we shall get a bottle of wine and bubble bath so that we can soak ourselves in bubble bath while having some wine at night with the beautiful night view and the music playing in the bathroom...

After exploring the room and taking some photos, we changed into our swimming attire and went down to the pool.... nuah beside the pool, went to the steam room and headed for dinner at Kuishin-Bo at suntec ...we felt we were like tourists as we walked from the hotel..hee..

Sat morning, after a light breakfast, we used the gym and the pool...the last thing we did before we left the hotel is another round of soaking in the bathtub..haha..but this time only me soak in it, dear just read his newspaper and we had chips and red wine...really enjoying life...
