Bad Service

Last night i was shopping with sharon and shuhui at Wisma...we went into a shop opposite Isetan, first floor...don't exactly remember the shop's name..anyway, there was a sales and it was ard 915pm...by right shops are closing ard this time but for wisma, usu they will close later i guess..so far i have been there, shops don't close tt early... i took some clothes and joined the queue to try the clothes and there were a few pple behind me...suddenly the lights in the shop went off...i tot it was blackout or sth..but soon realise that it was switched off by the staff...a very obvious hint to customers that they are closing....i was standing very close to the cashier where the 3 staff are talking...see below for part of their conversation that i heard and see..


"Some clothes don't need to try one"......"Restaurants also have last orders wat..." (this is said by the only guy staff and his face is super black when he said this....)

A: "Why last minute still have so many people one" B:"To chou ren nao mah"

First they switched off the lights which i feel is really impolite...if you don't want more pple to come in the shop, just close the door abit and politely tell pple u r closing...they dun have to switch off the lights...and look at the conversation, what a 'good' attitude man...if you dun want pple to chou ren nao then dun have sales lor....

i was thinking of not trying the clothes after they switch off the lights...BUT after listening to wat they said, i wanted to take more clothes in to try, even i have no intention to buy and i told myself, no matter how much i might like the clothes tt i am going to try, i will not buy a single thing fr the shop..and i took my own sweet time to try the clothes.... i understand that they have worked for 1 whole day and dying to go home to rest, they can do this in a better way than juz switching off the lights and saying all these things in front of customers??!!! after we walked out of the shop, we walked down the row of shops...some still have customers inside....some are preparing to close but none of the lights are switched off though they are preparing to close...

Singapore has a long way to go towards service excellence man....
